Fascinating

Continuing to make my way through the Camra (Campaign for real Ale) 2012 Beer Guide and am consistently finding pubs that are more than 100 years old, the oldest over 1,000.There are 4,500 listed in the guide.
So far I have read about  770 in 11 Counties, 184 being Historic. I find this fascinating and support Camra (a  British consumer watchdog organization with  0ver 100,00 members) and their effort (one of which is the publication of the guide) to keep awareness of the value of these Historical structures in the public eye. Only 3,729 remain for me to read about. I might just need another Ale!
