|When I was a kid my Dad ruled everything Christmas in our house . Not only could we not have outdoor lights ,the tree|
could never be put up until Christmas eve. It was quite an operation and he conducted the key elements
right down to the icicles which had to be placed on the branches evenly. But his main interest were the lights.
They had to be evenly spaced and some had to be set back towards the center of the tree for a nice effect.
When the clips broke he would tie the light on with a short piece of string. Although he has been gone for 30 years
I still try to impress him every year. Merry Christmas Dad!
